Cardi B is recuperating after being taken to the ER earlier this week for sharp stomach pains.

TMZ reports that the rapper shared the news on Twitter on Wednesday night, writing in a since-deleted tweet, “Honestly, cause I been having some real bad stomach problems for four days, I went to the ER last night.” She added, “I’m feeling way better. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel no more pain.”

Cardi also posted a photo of her wearing a hospital bracelet on her wrist. It appears that it was a difficult decision to go to the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, even though Cardi had been suffering from the stomach issue for four days.

It now looks like Bardi's back to her old self. On Wednesday night, she posted a meme of Donald Duck trying to go to sleep but really just being hungry. “Mood right fuckin now,” she wrote.

Many speculated that she was in the hospital due to contracting coronavirus. There's nothing to substantiate that.

Cardi has been openly suspicious of the global health crisis and critical of the U.S. government’s response to it. Last month, she pointed to the methods that China employed to decrease its cases, called out people for being xenophobic toward Chinese and East Asian people, and addressed the fact that the wealthy have better access to test kits than the disenfranchised. She even went so far as to publicly wonder if celebrities are getting paid to say they tested positive for COVID-19.
