Netflix has announced that 2021 will bring a new season of the unscripted hit Rhythm + Flow.

The streaming service shared the news on Tuesday, alongside second season pick-ups for The Circle and Love Is Blind. Chance the Rapper, Cardi B, and T.I. will return as hosts. For audition information, head to the show's official site. Requirements include being 18 years of age or older, the sharing of a 16-bar freestyle verse with backing track, a 16-bar freestyle verse without backing track, and a 90-second video bio.

The inaugural season of the guest judges-featuring show launched in October 2019, marking the first music-centered competition series that was developed exclusively for Netflix. D Smoke, whose Black Habits album dropped in February, was declared the first season winner.

"The beauty of what happened on Netflix was that I wasn't counting on it," D Smoke later said of the victory. "That experience really brought out the best of me. I'm one of those people who executes under pressure."

Thanks to the show, he added, he gets to do exactly what he was already planning, albeit at a "way higher level."

The first season of Rhythm + Flow was complemented with a special Aftershow add-on, hosted by Scottie Beam. Revisit a Complex-connected edition of the show here.
