Prolific producer Metro Boomin isn't exactly keen on a lot of new music at the moment.

Boomin, whose recent credits include The Weeknd's "Heartless," took his thoughts public via a recent IG Story update in which he relayed how he feels when listening to new music.

"I be hearing new music all the time and jus be sitting there like 😑," he said. "N****s either don't really care anymore or I'm just getting old."

Other recent Metro Boomin credits include a pair of songs on James Blake's 2019 album Assume Form and the 2019 platinum-certified Not All Heroes Wear Capes single "Space Cadet" with Gunna. Fans are currently awaiting additional updates on the status of the anticipated Savage Mode 2 with 21 Savage.

Back in September, 21's manager Justin "Meezy" Williams teased its arrival with a simple text post on IG that was accompanied by a flurry of emoji. The sequel to the 2016 original has been believed to be on the way for some time now.

In December, Boomin was featured in the video for The Weeknd's aforementioned After Hours era launch single "Heartless." The video sees Boomin and Weeknd roaming through Las Vegas a la Hunter S. Thompson.
