After announcing that his new album Ignatius will arrive via Def Jam on Feb. 28, Jadakiss dropped the music video foe his new Rick Ross and Emanny-featuring single, “Kisses to the Sky.”

In the clip, we see Jada, Ross, and Emanny bossed up in a glamorous venue, dripped in diamonds, and surrounded by women. The song’s title is a nod to Jadakiss’ first three breakthrough LPs: Kiss the Game Goodbye (2001), Kiss Of Death (2004), and The Last Kiss (2009). “Kisses to the Sky” is the follow-up to the New York rapper’s previous single and video, “Me, which dropped in October.

Ignatius meanwhile, will be Jadakiss’ fifth studio album, named after his manager and longtime friend Ignatius “Icepick Jay” Jackson, who passed away in 2017.

“The project is beautiful,” Jada told HipHopDX. “It’s not like nothing out there. It’s not turn-up; it’s real pain … it’s just real music. It’s real musical. It’s beautiful. You need it. I love how it’s put together sonically. I think my fans, old and new, will be able to really enjoy this body of work.”

Prior to Ignatius, Jadakiss released 2015’s solo effort Top 5 Dead Or Alive, which featured Future, Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Nas, Nipsey Hussle, Styles P, Puff Daddy, Swizz Beatz, and more. After Top 5, Jadakiss and Fabolous released the collaborative album Friday On Elm Street in 2017.
