"Heartless," the excellent new single from The Weeknd's upcoming new album, has hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Per Monday's charts update, "Heartless" is now at No. 1 (up from No. 32) ahead of tracks from Lewis Capaldi, Maroon 5, and more. The song also leads the Digital Song Sales chart, with a No. 2 showing on the Streaming Songs chart.

As pointed out by Billboard, this also means "Heartless"—which is produced by Metro Boomin and Illangelo—has already surpassed the Hot 100 peak (No. 2) for Kanye West's totally different song of the same name off his 808s & Heartbreak album.

"Blinding Lights," another new one from Weeknd, debuts at No. 11 on the Hot 100. Last week, both songs were brought to life on The Late Show.

While we await more word on what to expect from a new album (and when, exactly, to expect it), there's still more Weeknd to come before the year closes out. He appears in the Adam Sandler-starring Uncut Gems, directed by Benny and Josh Safdie.

Expressing his adoration for his co-star in a recent Vulturechat, Sandler noted a mutual fondness for the Safdies' previous films. "He's so deep," he said. "He's so into the Safdies' other work. He was excited about doing a movie with them. We got to know each other and got closer. He was a gentleman."

Uncut Gems is out Dec. 13.
