Overnight, the Migos member told fans that he had just finished watching a cut of the production, which marks the first horror movie to which he's contributed a producer credit.
Though literally nothing is known about the movie itself, Quavo did tag a guy by the name of Will Meldman in his announcement post. Meldman is the founder and CEO of Double Down Pictures. Back in March, he shared a behind-the-scenes update on The Resort's editing progress:
Back in August, we learned that Quavo and Imagine Entertainment co-founder Brian Grazer were linking up for a new "transformative franchise" in the animation field. The series, as Quavo explained in a press release at the time, is aimed at children ages 8-12 and is inspired by his own upbringing in Atlanta.
"I've loved animation my whole life whether on TV or in movies and I wanted my first jump into this premium content world to be a show just for kids," Quavo said at the time. "It will definitely reflect the creativity, love, and families in and around the NAWF side of Atlanta where we grew up."
