On Monday morning a newly released Nick Cannondiss track, "The Invitation," was pointed in the direction of Eminem. This aggressive start to the work week was, itself, a response to insults sent Cannon's way during Em's verse on Fat Joe's "Lord Above." And, coming full circle, by Monday evening Em had responded with a pair of tweets.

So without further ado here they are:

U mad bro? Stop lying on my dick. I never even had a chauffeur, you bougie f*ck.🤡

— Marshall Mathers (@Eminem) December 10, 2019

I demand an apology Nicholas, you've made my gardener so jealous!

For context on what he means by "I never even had a chauffeur," that was a response to a line from Cannon's rap. You probably could've guessed that, but more specifically it comes from a set of lyrics that Cannon himself retweeted. From our write-up earlier on Monday:

When HotNewHipHop highlighted the line, "I heard your chauffeur got a video of you sucking a cock/You paid him off then laid him off, now who really the opps," Cannon retweeted it and said, "FACTS! His lawyers didn’t want that one out! They already on my line."

And here's the retweet:

As mentioned in the top paragraph, this newest edition to this celebrity beef came after Shady mocked Cannon on Fat Joe's latest album, Family Ties. As he rapped on "Lord Above":

"I know me and Mariah didn't end on a high note/But that other dude's whipped, that pussy got him neutered/Tried to tell him this chick's a nut job before he got his jewels clipped/Almost got my caboose kicked, fool, quit, you not gon' do shit/I let her chop my balls off too, 'fore I lost to you, Nick."

The reason behind Eminem doing that had to do with Cannon stating, back in September, that he was ready to confront Em over his song 'The Warning,' which was, as you probably know, a track that was reacting to the Mariah Carey song "Obsessed."

On T.I.'s podcast ExpediTIously, Cannon said that he went to Detroit looking for Eminem. "I called managers... I gotta show my wife I'm a man," he claimed. "I said, 'I know I'm not gonna be able to out rap you but I will whoop your ass.' Those were the exact words at the time. Cooler heads prevailed."

Shortly after Eminem sent out the tweets, Cannon took to his IG to post a video of himself telling Eminem to "come out and play."

But that wasn't all, Cannon also took to Twitter to continue taking shots. "Fuck Apologies! Pull Up!! Bring your gardener, chauffeur, your male nurse and whoever else you’re fucking," Cannon wrote.

Only a few hours left Marshall....💣 https://t.co/ypGRa5SQLC
