Lil Reese has been hospitalized after being shot on Monday.

Reese was transferred from Advocate South Suburban Hospital to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn after being injured. Johnna Kelly, a spokesperson for Advocate Christ Medical Center, confirmed the rapper was in critical condition.

As concerns towards Reese's well-being grew, Lil Durk responded with a vague tweet saying that "Reese good." A rep for Lil Durk confirmed to Complex that the rapper's tweet was in reference to Lil Reese being shot.

Reese good 💙

Speculation of Lil Reese being shot began to circulate following multiple local reports that an unidentified man was shot in the neck in Country Club Hills near Chicago.

CBS Chicago reports that police were called at around 2:30 p.m. about a shooting that occurred at the intersection of 167th Street and Pulaski Road but the victim was not on the scene when authorities arrived. WGN reports that there was a car chase, and that witnesses  heard as many as 12 gunshots. According to the report, the individual who was pursuing Reese stepped out of his vehicle, shot Reese with a "small rife," and fled the scene. While the Country Club Hills Police Department provided Complex with a press release for the incident, they could not confirm the identity of the individual who was shot.
