Megan Thee Stallion has reportedly given money to help cover funeral costs for a fan who was killed after her Washington D.C. show with Wale, HotNewHipHop reports.

A user with the Twitter handle @GinaTheSavage tweeted on Monday night, ā€œSo my cousin was in love with Megan Thee Stallion & was killed lastnight after leaving the club to see her, hopefully she seeā€™s this,ā€ including a photo of Megan, Wale, and a third man, assumed to be the the womanā€™s cousin, Cyril. The woman then shared the link for the GoFundMe campaign in a subsequent tweet.

Megan replied to the initial tweet with her condolences, writing, ā€œI am so sorry for your lostā€ and ā€œHis energy was amazing when we met.ā€

The Shade Room shared screenshots of @GinaTheSavageā€™s alleged Twitter DMs, where Megan revealed she sent $1,200 and said, ā€œLet me kno if yā€™all still need more if it donā€™t make it high enough.ā€

This gesture seems on par with Meganā€™s personality. Looking at the donations for the GoFundMe campaign, it shows that around the time of the DM conversation between Megan and @GinaTheSavage, someone named Megan Pete sent $1,200. Megan Pete is the rapperā€™s government name.

Megan released her 14-track debut albumĀ Fever on May 16, which includes features from DaBaby and Juicy J.
