Soulja Boy's legal troubles are continuing, as TMZ reports he was sentenced to 240 days in jail for violating his probation. In addition, he is mandated to serve 265 of community service.

Since his April 11 arrest, Big Soulja's lawyer said that the rapper underwent an "awakening." That wasn't enough to help him avoid jail time. The judge initially intended to hit him with two years, but acknowledged the business opportunities Soulja has already missed and decided to be more lenient.

In 2017, a felony possession of a firearm charge resulted in Soulja's no contest plea. He cut a deal, which called for five years of probation, as well as 240 days of community service. In February 2019, Soulja was arrested after his ex-girlfriend alleged he was holding her captive. Following her allegations, cops raided his home, and seized ammunition, which is a violation.

Earlier in April, Soulja was picked up for failing to complete previously assigned community service. After being released, he famously said he wasn't "gonna go out like 6ix9ine," who is currently awaiting sentencing for his case.

This comes days after it was reported that his San Fernando Valley home was burglarized. Thieves managed to make off with over $500,000 worth of jewelry and other items, and bragged about their illegal exploits on social media.
