Meek Mill is riding high. He has a new album out, the whole rap world got behind him during his recent stint in prison, and even Drake is back to good terms with him. So, he had to go and mess that up by kicking a hornet's nest. The Championships rapper decided it was high time to trash lace-front wigs.
"Lace front wigs are wackkkk! I’m protesting them," he wrote. "I just hate when you see that lace cap line in front all slicked down and the net in the middle. We letting y’all have everything else .... ask y’all man how he feel lol."
The tweet led to some immediate blowback from his fans.
Meek didn't fully back away from his statements, saying that he can "still be attracted to a woman wearing them." That was met with a righteous wave of amateur cartographers pulling out their maps and asking to be shown exactly where they asked him.
Meek repeatedly claimed to be leaving the conversation, but kept jumping back in to argue with his detractors.
He closed out the argument by rating a few "pick me" types on their wigs, showing that it's not a hard and fast rule.
