Kanye West is switching it up this Sunday. After several weeks of using the Sabbath to twist his old music into something a little more godly, Kanye spent this week looking for divine inspiration. In a series of posts to Instagram from Angelique Pereira that were corralled by Team Kanye Daily, Ye can be seen freestyling with Dame Dash after the pair got out of production meetings.

Kanye freestyled about the hurt he still feels over the rap world's initial disapproval of him, over the types of beats that Kanye has recently reminded us he can still make.

Joyous Kanye is a good sign for Yandhi. The gospel-inflected upbeat mood he's been in since his post-MAGA comedown might just gift us with another "Ultralight Beam," if we ever get to hear the album. His new track "We'll Find A Way" is definitely a step in that direction.

Reports had circulated that Kanye is withholding Yandhi due to contract disputes with Def Jam. While Ye is currently litigating contracts made with Roc-A-Fella and EMI, reps for Kanye denied a third lawsuit against Def Jam and the story that he was refusing to turn over his album.

"The Blast article has the unredacted complaint but it’s not a new lawsuit. It’s the unredacted version of the previous filing," they told XXL. "Also, there’s another inaccurate portion about him holding up the ninth album. That’s not in the complaint and untrue."
