Being the daughter of two musical legends, in this case JAY-Z and Beyoncé, is bound to have a huge effect on Blue Ivy Carter. Speaking with US Weekly, Bey's mother Tina Knowles Lawson pretty much confirmed this, explaining that the six-year-old "has been performing since birth."
It should be noted that Tina said Blue "hasn't decided yet" if she wants to get into music or show business in any form, but both her parents will undoubtedly be supportive of her regardless. "Whatever she wants to do, she will definitely be able to because she's good at a lot of things," she added. Growing up around the music of Jay and Bey could go one of two ways, it would seem, either encouraging her to create her own art in the far future or inspiring her to find her own path.
It's a bit early to tell, obviously, but it wouldn't be surprising if she turns out to be just as talented as her parents.
Blue's grandmother Tina has been giving fans insight into the private lives of the Carters for a while now, previously posting a video of Blue telling her off for recording a video in a Parisian theater. "You're not supposed to take videos, Grandma," Blue told Tina.
