Ari Lennox is back with two more singles, titled “Grampa” and “40 Shades of Choke.”
She began teasing the songs earlier this week, sharing a dreamy portrait of herself in a black dress on Twitter. The same softness is also reflected in both songs, where soulful compositions are fitting accompaniments for the young singer’s raspy vocals.
The last time we heard from the Dreamville signee was earlier this summer, when she released the song “Whipped Cream.” It’s been two years since her debut EP PHO—hopefully her latest offering means that we’ll be receiving another project from the artist soon.
