Alessia Cara Shares Sophomore Album 'The Pains of Growing'

Alessia Cara has released her second full-length, 'The Pains of Growing,' via Def Jam.

Alessia Cara has released her highly anticipated sophomore album The Pains of Growing via Def Jam.

The 15-song record is autobiographical in nature, taking stock of her experiences over the last few years. Cara kicked off the cycle in June, with the release of her the first single Growing Pains,” followed by “A Little More” in July and “Trust My Lonely” in October. She performed “Trust My Lonely” and “Not Today” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, and is set to perform on The Tonight Show next Tuesday.

Following the release of her album, the Canadian native will drop a three-episode digital short series called The More You Grow. She’s already released the first episode, “Crushed Dreams” through her Twitter and Instagram.
