Beyoncé and Jay-Z wrapped up their On the Run II tour earlier this month, and now left to their own devices the Beyhive is buzzin’ with a new conspiracy theory about its queen. Some dubious IG posts are pushing fans to believe that Bey and her BFF/Destiny’s Child comrade Kelly Rowland are teasing new music.
It all started when a random account popped up with the username @roseivyou or Rose IV You. So far, there are two posts on the account. One of them includes black and white footage of a rose slowly opening to the soundtrack of Bey singing and laughing. Another clue? The account only follows five people, including Beyoncé, Rowland, and Tidal. It's worth noting that it also follows Nicki Minaj and Netflix.
An account dedicated to Jay and Bey’s Everything Is Love album also posted a photo of a rose.
Now this could be a coincidence, but we should know by now that Bey isn't usually one for coincidences, remember the lemons? And to top it off, a few days ago, Rowland posted video of herself singing about...ROSES. More specifically rose petals, with two rose emojis in the caption.
This follows last month’s rumors that Bey is preparing to drop her 7th album. As of right now, this is all fan speculation, but it’s never a bad idea to keep your eyes peeled and phone alerts on for one of Bey’s infamous surprise drops.
