K'yanna Barber had no idea that she was going to be the center of a gossip vortex when Drake dropped Scorpion. According to the real-life Keke (or Kiki), she found out about the apparent shout-out on Drake's megahit, bounce-lite track at the same time as all of the sleuths who were desperate to know her identity.

"I was kind of surprised by it myself when I heard it," she said in an interview on Power 106 Los Angeles. "I was sitting in the living room with my son, my brother, my mom. We was just listening to the album like everybody else. You know, it's Drake. He dropped new music. You listen to it."

At first, Barber was able to play off the mention. She pointed out that there's "a lot of little Kikis running around in everybody hood." But then the hook came back around and Drake made it clear that he was talking about her.

"When we heard KB that's when my mom started going crazy because that's my actual initials," she said.

Barber, who's now working on music of her own, said that she's known Drake for 2 or 3 years and that she met him while dancing for Kamaiyah.

Since the song dropped, Barber has been spotted partying with Drake at Los Angeles hotspot Delilah's. When host DJ Felli Fel pushed on whether or not Drake got an answer to the question at the center of the hook, Barber wouldn't give much.

"I feel like he knows the answer," she said.

Fel continued, asking if that's the sort of answer Drake was looking to hear when he put her in his song.

"You got to ask him," she said. "I don't know what he wants to hear back."
