Drake Drops "In My Feelings" Video

Drake has another new video to share and sadly it's not one for "Summer Games." Instead, ubiquitous 'Scorpion' single "In My Feelings" is graduating from traffic-halting challenge to Karena Evans-directed visual.

Drake continues to make me wait for some sort of "Summer Games" visual, now ignoring my pleas in favor of a new video for ubiquitous Scorpion single "In My Feelings."

As suspected, the video is helmed by previous Drake collaborator Karena Evans. The video stars La La Anthony as Drizzy's love interest, Kiki; Phylicia Rashad as Kiki's protective mother; and Shiggy as a loudmouthed PA.

The visual begins with Drake standing outside of Kiki's window as he attempts to charm the woman with a few smooth lines and promises. But just as he starts making progress, Kiki's mother shows up and sends Drake on his way. From there, we see the 6 God take over New Orleans, where the "In My Feelings" dance challenge has seemingly blown up.

At the end of the video, Drake awakes in his production trailer, where he reveals it was all a dream: "I just had some dream that I made some song about some girl," he explains. "I was from New Orleans, grill in my mouth. And then this kid from New York that spits when he talks all the time did some dance to it. And then the world did the dance, and Will Smith was there. Nobody would stop. It was terrible."

Catch the full thing up top via YouTube. The video also includes cameos by New Orleans rapper Capito, City Girls' Yung Miami, and, as expected, Big Freedia.

The "In My Feelings" drop follows last week's release of the official Theo Skudra-directed video for Scorpion Side A highlight "Nonstop," which fittingly featured Drake enjoying a guestless tea party.

Scorpion, of course, is currently enjoying what is approximately its billionth week atop the Billboard 200. The Shiggy-boosted "In My Feelings" is presently enjoying similar No. 1 spot pleasures. Anyway, here's a quick message from someone whose opinion is worth very little:
