Danny Brown has always been an absolute treat, but ever since he's been streaming his Persona 5 playthrough on Twitch he's provided his fans with a level of directness that matches his often out-there music. He's already previewed some unreleased music on one of his streams, telling his viewers shortly after that what he was playing was "only for Twitch," citing clearance issues. In one of his latest sessions, he gave fans an indication as to when they expect his next album.

"I would say, I'm trying to get my album...it will probably be coming out early 2019. I think it'll come out early," he told his Twitch viewers during a quieter moment. "I don't have enough time for it to come out this year, I'mma be honest. I tried, I tried, I tried."

He did, however, hit everyone with another preview of new music while streaming, making the wait for the untitled record all the more excruciating.

Recently, Danny Brown gave his fans an update on the project through Instagram. "Danny album almost done," he revealed a few days ago, posting a picture of experimental Baltimore rapper JPEGMAFIA, who will supposedly appear on the record in some form.

Oh shit look who just showed up!!! @jpegmafia ... Danny album almost done!!!!!!!!!
