Samsung Electronics aimed to inspire people to “join the flip side” with its Unpacked event in Seoul on Wednesday.
As expected, the livestreamed proceedings featured the formal unveilings of several new products from the company.
“Samsung is revolutionizing the mobile industry with foldables by setting the standard and continually refining the experience,” TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said of the company’s latest lineup of foldable devices.

Galaxy Z Flip5
For the device’s fifth generation update, Samsung has added the new Flex Window, which is 3.78 times larger than its predecessor. Thanks to the boosted cover screen size, users can also expect camera improvements and a stronger full app experience when using this apect of the device. The Galaxy Z Flip5 starts at $999.99 and comes in mint, graphite, cream, and lavender color options. Additionally, the Samsung site is offering a selection of exclusive color designs.
Galaxy Z Fold5
The thinner-than-its-predecessor Galaxy Z Fold5, meanwhile, starts at $1,799.99 in the following colorways: ice blue, phantom black, and cream. Like the Flip5, Samsung is also offering exclusive color options via its website.
Galaxy Watch6
The bezel is back. Those looking to snatch up a Galaxy Watch6 Classic, boasting a rotating bezel, can expect to pay $399.99 for the small and $429.99 for the larger. As for the Galaxy Watch6, that’ll start at $299.99 for the small and $329.99 for the large.
Galaxy Tab S9, S9 +, and S9 Ultra
OLED screens are hitting all three versions of Samsung’s latest tablet. The S9 starts at $799.99, the S9+ at $999.99, and the S9 Ultra at $1,199.99.
