Former substitute teacher Enreeka Nalasco, 32, was arrested last week for allegedly offering drugs and vape pens to teen girls in exchange for sex.

As NBC Miami reported, the Florida man was a substitute teacher in the Miami Beach area, and he was detained May 13 on charges including human trafficking, traveling to meet a minor, certain uses of computer services or devices prohibited, unlawful use of a communications device, and contributing to the delinquency of a child. He was arrested following the conclusion of an investigation that was launched in March.

According to his arrest report, Nalasco was under investigation because numerous girls at Nautilus Middle School were in possession of illicit drugs and vape pens. A Miami Beach Police officer was made aware of the situation, and discovered the students allegedly obtained the materials via Nalasco selling the items over Snapchat under the alias of “Swaggy.” He’s accused of selling marijuana, nicotine, and the pens. Some of the girls in possession of such items said he accepted sexual favors as payment in lieu of money, and he would even drive to them to deliver their requested items.

Nalasco was a sub at Miami Beach Senior High School, but was relieved of his duties after he inappropriately contacted a student through social media. Girls as young as 11 had been in contact with Nalasco when he was selling items as Swaggy, with one stating that he offered narcotics in exchange for “kisses inside the vehicle.” One 14-year-old girl said she blocked him after he placed his hand on her thigh and told her she was pretty, which lined up with similar reports from other students.

A 12-year-old student, meanwhile, alleged she was sexually assaulted by Nalasco after meeting him in person. Another girl the same age showed messages between her and him, and she supposedly sent him nude photos.

“Miami-Dade County Public Schools is deeply disturbed by the troubling allegations made against this former employee,” said the school district in a statement. “This individual has not been employed with M-DCPS since 2018 and is precluded from seeking future employment with this District.”
