DJ Khaled has made his official runway debut.
The Grammy-winning hitmaker was among many celebrities who walked in Hugo Boss’ spring-summer 2023 fashion show. The star-studded event took place Wednesday night outside One Herald Plaza in Miami, where the brand presented an aquatic-themed show that included walls of water and a runway that appeared to be floating.
Despite the seemingly slippery conditions, Khaled hit the catwalk like a total pro. He came out arm in arm with fashion icon Naomi Campbell, while donning a classic Hugo Boss look: a black suit paired with a white shirt and leather shoes.
The 47-year-old celebrated the occasion in a series of Instagram posts Thursday.
One of the videos gave a behind-the-scenes look at the events leading up to the show.
“The BOSS Spring/Summer 2023 collection is a fluid revisitation of the brand’s heritage tailoring while offering a ‘see now, buy now’ approach to key pieces,” Marco Falcioni, SVP of Creative Direction at Hugo Boss, said in a press release. “One of the underlying motifs that inspired the collection is the exquisite tension that lies between contrasting elements, such as solid and fluid states; land and sea; opaque and transparent; past and present. This powerful juxtaposition serves as the cornerstone of a new exploration in prints, tones, and textures, opening the door to a world that invites a creative, visual dialogue. It is a sartorial reflection in looking back to move boldly forward into the future and embody the spirit of a true BOSS.”
Other stars who walked in the show included Pamela Anderson, Precious Lee, Ibtihaj Muhammad, Ezra Frech, Caleb Williams, and newly retired “image architect”/celeb stylist Law Roach. You can check out the event via YouTube below.
