The artist formerly known as Kanye West’s “creative exploration” with Yeezy, Gap, and Balenciaga continues this week with a new global drop.
As fans will note, the latest release—which was delayed from its originally scheduled drop date this week due to the Texas school shooting—was preceded by the unveiling of an official video for Ye’s “Life of the Party” featuring Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga pieces.
The drop features t-shirts, hoodies, jogging pants, various outwear pieces, and caps all boasting signature design elements of the larger Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga experience. To model select looks from the collection, a press release notes that “virtually rendered avatars” have been enlisted for a range of campaign images, as seen below.
In terms of seen-on-Ye pieces included in the drop, fans will note the presence of a flame-embroidered cap he’s been photographed wearing in recent months.
See more below. The Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection is available to shop via Yeezy Gap, Farfetch, Luisaviaroma, and Mytheresa.
Friday also saw the release of the Ye and XXXTentacion track “True Love,” which is also featured in the recently released documentary on the latter titled Look at Me. Also on the current Ye slate is a reimagining of McDonald’s packaging in collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa.
