Trinidad James is the guest on the first episode of the new season of the Claima Storiespodcast with host Bimma Williams.
James, of course, is known for his creativity across a litany of mediums, including his work as co-host of Full Size Run with Complex. The resulting conversation spans just under an hour and sees James reflecting on how his unique personality and relentless drive helped him expand beyond the music space and into other artistic outlets.
When shouting out the Claima Studios team and amplifying the interview’s release on Instagram, James zeroed in on a specific moment from the discussion in which he focused on the importance of establishing a “great team” behind one’s individual efforts.

In other news, Claima has connected with footwear brand Sperry for a three part Faith Briggs-directed “Reclaim Your Water” docuseries in which the topic “of water in Black communities” is explored from the perspective of BIPOC entrepreneurs.
According to a press release, the series will highlight “Jamicah Dawes, the owner of SlimPickins Outfitters, the first-ever Black-owned gear shop in the nation; Co-founders Thurman and Torrence Thomas of Tankproof, a Louisiana-based organization that gives under-served youth the lifesaving gift of swimming; and Natasha Smith, a leading content creator and surf trainer who has played a huge role in teaching the founders of Ebony Beach Club how to surf.”
