Slick Woods was in labor while walking in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie runway show during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday night. According to TMZ, paramedics were called when the 22-year-old model walked backstage.
Woods confirmed the news via Instagram on Friday, writing, “A lewk, 14 hours of labor, and A king is born. This is the face of a WOMAN IN LABOR, we hold shit down most of us don’t even know how much we’re going through, I’m here to say I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT WHENEVER THE FUCK I WANT AND SO CAN YOU.”
Woods and the father, model Adonis Bosso, named their baby boy Saphir, a play on his birthstone, according to Cosmopolitan.
Woods is widely known for working with Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty. She revealed that she was pregnant in March via Instagram, captioning a photo of her in a bathing suite with, “In good company.”
