Off-White, surprising no one, remains the hottest brand on the planet.
That's the determination at the center of the latest update to the Lyst Index, which released its ranking of the hottest brands of Q4 2019 this week. The Virgil Abloh-founded label retains the No. 1 spot, coming in ahead of Gucci at No. 2 (up from No. 3 in the previous Q3 ranking) and Balenciaga at No. 3 (down from No. 2 in Q3).
The index ranks the industry's host brands and products each quarter using the worldwide fashion search platform Lyst, meaning the data is pulled from the online shopping habits of more than nine million people per month. The larger formula measures global Lyst search data, global Google search data, conversion rates and sales, and brand and product mentions and engagement stats on social media.
