Coach has announced details for its new CitySole footwear collection, described by brand reps as a merging of its proven "fashion authority" with leading technology of the day in an effort to put its own future-minded twist on the shoe industry.

In a press release, Coach’s creative director Stuart Vevers pointed to the inspiration brought on by the "unique energy" of New York. "Like everything we design, CitySole was created with this in mind," Vevers said Monday. "It's a collection for people who live always on, spontaneous and adventurous lives."

Shoppers can expect three design choices: the CitySole Court, the CitySole Runner, and the CitySole Lowline.

For the accompanying campaign, Coach enlisted photographer Juergen Teller for a series of images starring Jennifer Lopez and Michael B. Jordan.

"Coach CitySole is perfect for my lifestyle," Lopez said. "I'm a dancer, and I'm always on the go and they're very versatile. They can be dressed up and dressed down, and can be functional but also super fashionable."

The CitySole line is available as of Monday at the Coach website, physical Coach shops, and Macy's. Pop-ups at Foot Locker's Times Square location and Bloomingdale's 59th Street flagship store will run from Feb. 4 through March 1.
