Watch Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall/Winter 2020 Fashion Show

The collection, per Abloh, is "an ode to freedom of thought."

"I'm coming fresh off of taking six months, in essence, to just think," Virgil Abloh said earlier this week of his new Louis Vuitton menswear collection.

The collection, he further explained, marks a celebration of open-mindedness and is currently being debuted live from Paris via the video above.

"The title of the show is Heaven," Abloh said. "The collection is about being open-minded and free, even in the constructs of formal menswear."

Abloh, in addition to coming off a break of sorts as hinted at in his comments on the latest LV show, is also fresh off a widely quoted and celebrated mention in the new Drake and Future song "Life Is Good." The watch-centered line ultimately saw Drake taking to Instagram to jokingly explain that he wrote the line as a way of introducing fans to a "super underground" artist by the name of "Veerjil Ablow."

To close out the decade, which has included Abloh's artistic ascent from Kanye West collaborator to becoming one of the leading voices in fashion, he spoke extensively with Dazed about his journey. In case you missed that must-read, head here to consume it.
