Kanye West has released merchandise for his gospel-inspired Jesus Is King album.
The Chicago native worked with ASAP Rocky’s production agency AWGE to design the collection, which dropped on Tuesday. The capsule features hoodies, crewnecks, t-shirts, sweatpants, shorts, socks, and baseball caps with Jesus and cross imagery. Prices range from $20 for a pair of socks to $260 for a sweatshirt. Purchases also come with pre-sale access to a future event and a digital download of Jesus Is King. Items are scheduled to ship within the next four to five weeks.
The back of the hoodies are emblazoned with a Bible verse, “If the world hated you, keep in mind that it hated me first,” while the back of the sweaters read, “I am no saint, I’m only His father.”
The capsule was first released at Kanye’s three-day installation over the weekend, in support of Jesus Is King. The space featured a large truck that occupied a water-filled crater, as well as the tall grass installations seen at Kanye's recent screening event at The Forum.
Ye also recently a short film, Jesus Is King, which pulled in over $1 million at this weekend's box office. Though the 35-minute film only screened in 12 markets, it's just the first leg of the movie's run. IMAX plans on expanding the film to 78 additional foreign territories on Nov. 8.
