Lonzo Ball is moving forward with his rap career.
The Los Angeles Lakers rookie shared the cover and tracklist for his debut album, Born 2 Ball, which shows a photo of himself a kid with his infamous overzealous dad, LaVar Ball.
Ball has already released four tracks off the upcoming album, "Get Off," "BBB," "Zo2" and the Dragon Ball Z–inspired "Super Saiyan." But a quick look at the tracklist shows that he'll have 13 additional songs to share. The album will kick off with a song titled after his father "LaVar," which is fitting since the basketball dad played an integral role in bringing Lonzo's career into the spotlight with the family's Big Baller Brand. Based on the other titles, Ball will likely provide inspirational moods with "Grind Mode," "Puttin in Work" and "Gotta Get It" while also leaving plenty of room to stunt with "Living Lavish," "Look at My Life" and "Money Talks."
Lonzo is far from the last basketball player to try to enter the rap game. Tony Parker, Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace, Shaq, Lou Williams, Iman Shumpert and Damian Lillard have all tried their hand at crafting rhymes. To this day, only Master P succeeded in both as a rap mogul and a player for the Charlotte Hornets and the Toronto Raptors in the late '90s.
Although the chances are slim for Lonzo to be a signed basketball player and a rap superstar, LaVar Ball has taught us that anything is possible if you say it enough. Born 2 Ball is set to drop on Feb 15.
