Marcus Jordan is celebrating a major personal milestone, and he's doing it with his legendary father by his side.

The 33-year-old son of NBA icon Michael Jordan announced on Instagram that he's officially six months sober, posting a carousel of photos that included several shots of his dad. According to Marcus, he's been sober for half a year, but is still partying it up.

"6 Months Sober🚱🚯🚮 & Still The Life of The Party🥳 #180Days 🫡," Marcus wrote in the caption, signaling the accomplishment to his followers.

The images show Marcus spending time with friends and family, and the six-time NBA champion, which serves as a sign of the strong support system he's leaned on during his sobriety journey. Marcus' sobriety comes after a rocky start to the year.

Back in February, he was arrested for DUI in Florida, where officers also reportedly found a baggie of ketamine in his possession. The incident made headlines, especially given his family's high-profile name.

In September, Marcus reached a deal with prosecutors to resolve the case, agreeing to write a 250-word apology letter to the arresting officer as part of the settlement. Marcus celebrated 40 days of sobriety back in May with an Instagram post showing him working out.

While Marcus hasn't gone into detail publicly about the night of his arrest, his recent posts signal he has a clear shift in priorities that's focused on becoming better.
