Ja'Marr Chase, the Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver, has filed a restraining order against a woman he claims has been harassing him and his mother ever since he slept with her in 2021.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Chase made his way to a Los Angeles County courthouse to file a temporary restraining order against Ambar Hunter, with whom he had a one-night stand. Hunter has allegedly been harassing Chase and his family on social media.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Chase alleged that Hunter is responsible for a pattern of "unhinged and disturbing" harassment towards him and his mother, such as sharing their personal phone numbers on social media. The harassment allegedly started after Chase ended the relationship after hooking up on that fateful July 2021 night.

The two-time NFL Pro Bowler also stated Hunter has since been trying to damage his brand, reputation, and sponsorships through "calculated and ongoing harassment." In various Instagram Story posts, Hunter claimed Chase was a deadbeat dad and that she was a victim of his domestic abuse.

Chase also says he does not share a child with Ambar Hunter, despite her claims. According to Chase, Hunter used photos of another person's child and claims its their own. Hunter hasrefused to give their alleged child a DNA test.

With the domestic violence claims, Chase said no law enforcement agency had found credibility behind Hunter's claims of abuse. Chase's attorneys, Jason Lampert and Michael Goldstein, released a statement to TMZ Sports after the filing.

"Earlier today, Mr. Chase filed a restraining order in Los Angeles County in connection with Ms. Hunter's ongoing harassment of Mr. Chase and his family since 2021," the statement reads. "After exhausting every out of court remedy, he was left with no other option. Mr. Chase intends to use all legal options to protect himself and family from this unwarranted harassment. We have no further comment while this matter is pending."
