It's happening. The Cleveland Cavaliers are the 2015 Eastern Conference champs, and heading to the NBA Finals. A team that was in shambles a mere season ago, is now poised to snatch the title. For Knicks fans, seeing J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert—who started the 2014-15 season in the orange and blue—at this level of success is yet another reminder that the Larry O'Brien Trophy isn't finding a home in NYC any time soon.

Any Knicks fan will tell you, the promises that Phil Jackson brought with him from L.A. are sure to take some time before they flower into results. But when you see two players go from mediocre Knickerbockers to crucial, championship-bound Cavaliers, that's bound to leave a mark. With the Cavs' clean sweep of the Atlanta Hawks last night, the resulting celebrations (and there were plenty) had us feeling worse than ex-head coach Mike Woodson at the end of the 2013-14 NBA season.
