Phil Jackson Called Out the New York Knicks on Twitter

Phil's getting fed up

The New York Knicks suffered a beating at the hands of the red hot Cleveland Cavaliers today, though to be fair, when your starting lineup includes Lou Amundson there aren't a whole lot of teams you're going to compete with.

Rubbing salt in the wound were former Knicks Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith having stellar games for the Cavs, including a connection on a sick alley-oop that sent the Cavs bench in to a frenzy. Knicks president Phil Jackson took a break from tending to his Zen garden to attend the game in person, and was disgusted by what he saw. He decided to let the team know how he really felt tonight via Twitter.

Carmelo Anthony is done for the year. Smith, Shumpert and Amare Stoudamire are all long gone. The Knicks roster is chock full of guys who probably won't be there next year, under a first year head coach trying to teach them the triangle offense. Why this game prompted Jackson to say something is up for debate, but we aren't sure what more he expected.

Shouts to Phil for using "smh" correctly in a tweet though. That's big time.
