Earlier tonight we mentioned how a few people on Twitter kicked the Bulls while they were down, as the Cavs dispatched them to became the first and (after that Clippers collapse) only team so far in their conference's finals. But those people were just busting the balls of a team that advanced to the postseason. A loss was probable. After all, only one of the 16 playoff teams is going to end the season with a win.
Their plight is nothing compared to that of the Knicks, who came a game away from finishing with the worst record in the league. And so we bring the headline full circle to J.R. Smith posting a meme to bring up a season most Knicks fans would risk a concussion to forget. Let's just say...hopefully the Knicks can do something positive with that second rounder they got from Cleveland for both Smith and Shumpert.
We'll have to wait until 2019 to find out.
