J.R. Smith has missed the Knicks' last seven games with a tear in the plantar fascia in his left foot. But even though he hasn't gotten the opportunity to play lately, he's still felt the pain that comes along with being a part of a team that is currently 5-25. So when he was asked to describe the Knicks' season thus far earlier this week, he provided the perfect description of it.
"It's a nightmare," he said. "We just got to wake up from it…I mean, to be 5-25, we had a lot of expectations coming in here, so to be in the situation we're in, it's a nightmare for me anyway."
The Knicks play the Wizards at noon today. Think they'll wake up from their nightmare?
