Patriots Fan Claims NFL Security Said "We Know Your Whole Life" While Ejecting Him From Game

The NFL doesn't play games.

Tip: If you're going to attend an NFL game anytime soon, do not joke about running on to the field in exchange for retweets. Because even if you're just joking around, the NFL clearly isn't playing any games.

One unlucky Steelers fan found that out the hard way during a playoff game at Heinz Field back in January. He said he would run on to the field if 400 people retweeted a tweet that he sent out—and was ejected for doing it. And last night, the same exact thing happened during the Steelers/Patriots game after Pats fan Mike Tetreault said that he would run on to the field if a tweet that he sent out was retweeted 10,000 times:

A little more than an hour after that tweet was sent out, Tetreault was escorted out of Gillette Stadium. And according to him, it was the NFL, not the Patriots, that had him removed:

Tetreault claims that NFL security said this to him while giving him the boot, which, if true, is obviously crazy:

And while security told him that he was only being banned from the stadium for the night and not for life, Tetreault wasn't happy about being asked to leave. So he released an entire statement about the incident this morning:

He also demanded an apology from Roger Goodell and the NFL:

Good luck with that. We get that Tetreault was just joking here, but fans have run on to the field during sporting events in the past after threatening to do it on Twitter. So it's kind of hard to blame the NFL for not seeing the humor in his tweet.
