If you’re an NFL player, you might want to go ahead and change your social media passwords now. Like, right now. Better safe than sorry, right?
Last night, NFL Draft prospect Laremy Tunsilhad both his Twitter and Instagram accounts hacked while the draft was going on. Someone posted a video of Tunsil smoking weed out of a gas-mask bong at the start of the draft, and after the Dolphins selected him with the No. 13 pick, someone posted text messages that featured Tunsil asking an Ole Miss coach for money on IG. It ruined his night—and likely cost him about $7 million in the process.
Now, Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is claiming that his IG account was hacked, too. Earlier today, this photo went up on it and was screengrabbed by Terez Owens:
And after taking the photo down, Harris Jr. posted this on Twitter:
He also advised Cardinals safety Tony Jefferson to change his password:
Is it just a coincidence that this happened to Harris Jr. hours after it happened to Tunsil? Probably. But regardless, now is as good a time as any to change those passwords, guys.
