  • Anthony Edwards must pay Alexandria Descroches $14,000 per month to support their son Amir, up from the $3,200 he previously paid and based on his reported $4.8 million monthly income.
  • Edwards said under oath that he has never met Amir and will not seek visitation or custody, while the court also ordered him to cover Descroches' $21,000 legal fees and obtain a life insurance policy naming her as beneficiary.
  • The Timberwolves star has four children with four women and separately owes ex-girlfriend Ayesha Howard $3,222 per month for their one-year-old daughter.

Anthony Edwards has been ordered to pay $14,000 in monthly child support payments for a child he claims he's never even met.

As reported by TMZ, the Minnesota Timberwolves star has been ordered to pay the monthly figure to his ex-girlfriend Alexandria Descroches, with whom he shares the child. The $14,000 fee was determined by his $4.8 million monthly income, increasing dramatically from the $3,200 he was already paying to her in child support.

According to court documents, Descroches said that she otherwise makes $1,016 per month, and she argued that the child support payments will help her complete college while raising their child.

Alongside the child support ruling, Edwards was ordered to take out a $1.6 million life insurance policy that names Descroches as a beneficiary. He will also be covering her $21,000 in legal fees. The former couple welcomed their only son together, Amir, in 2023. Under oath, he said that he has never met their son and he will not seek to have visitation or custody rights.

Edwards has four children with four different women. Just last month, Edwards was ordered to pay $3,222 a month in child support to his ex-girlfriend Ayesha Howard, with whom he shares a one-year-old daughter. That’s a significantly smaller amount than what he’s been ordered to pay Descorches.

But, as TMZ reported last month, Howard did not appear in court during the trial and did not provide evidence to back up her claims that her monthly income was $0 while Edwards signed a five-year deal with the Timberwolves in 2023 valued over $200 million.

He was previously paying Howard $5,000 a month since January 2025, which also came with an initial payment of $20,000.
