Though you’re more likely to catch him shooting hoops on the ‘gram, Drake cares about hockey too. He’s currently executive producing a documentary on the experiences of Black hockey players, has pulled up to a few Maple Leafs games over the years, and used to play the sport himself back in the day. He also just dropped a hockey equipment collection through his brand OVO in collaboration with Canadian athletics brand Sherwood.
The capsule features a variety of hockey gear sporting OVO’s iconic owl logo. There’s a goalie helmet painted in a lightning bolt pattern, a black and gold equipment bag, carbon fiber player and goalie sticks, and some gold-plated pucks. All ideal for shredding through the 6ix with your woes.
This isn’t the first time OVO’s brought the worlds of fashion and sports together. Last month, they dropped a Jurassic Park-themed Toronto Raptors collection with campaign shots featuring homegrown baller Dalano Banton.
