Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant will not be playing in either Game 3 or 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals series after being evaluated by medical staff. In a statement, the Warriors said that Durant's injury will be looked at again in a week.

Bob Myers said pregame on @NBCSAuthentic that Kevin Durant won't travel to Portland. Game 5 is back in Oakland, next Wednesday, six days from now.

The Warriors also gave an update on DeMarcus Cousins, saying that he will also be reevaluated after a week.

The update on Durant's injury was released just as Game 2 of the series against Portland was about to get underway. Durant suffered the right calf injury on May 8 during Game 5 against the Houston Rockets while Cousins suffered his injury (torn left quadriceps) on April 15.
