Klay Thompson's injury kept him off the court while the Toronto Raptors unseated his Golden State Warriors, but a bum knee wasn't enough to keep him away from a shot at being in Space Jam 2

TMZ shared videos of Thompson on crutches on the set of the long-awaited Looney Tunes sequel, with Thompson and LeBron James taking a moment to hug it out. Thompson tore his ACL during the NBA Finals but is still expected to remain a left-coaster along with James, as the Warriors reportedly will offer him a max contract. TMZ reports that the scene in question is meant to be an All-Star Game (possibly a set-up for the same sort of mojo-stealing that powered the first match-up between the Monstars and the Tune Squad) and that Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, and Draymond Green were also in attendance.

James has been bouncing around Los Angeles to film the movie, spending significant time at the stunning "infinity court" that ultra-rich cowboy club guy Jimmy Goldstein built in the Hollywood Hills.

As for how the Monstars will fare in SJ2, I don't think we have to worry. Even at this late stage in his career, LeBron is ever the competitor and with the news that he's looking to bring his trademark chalk toss back in Los Angeles, it doesn't seem like anyone who wants to get in James' way will have a chance.

Could be making a return this coming year until forever! Stay tuned. 🙌🏾🌪👑
