“He was hyped,” Curry said. “He was hyped about that line. He was like, ‘I made it. I made it.’ I got my first All-Star Game, and I got in a Drake song. So I made it. That was a huge accomplishment right there.”

And in his latest playoff diary entry for ESPN and The Undefeated, Green reflects on what the Drake shout-out meant to him. With Drake’s new album, VIEWS, set to drop at midnight, Green says that it was “incredible” to hear Drake rap, “You know Chubbs like Draymond,” on “Summer Sixteen.”

“That was cool for me,” he says. “I said, ‘Mama, I made it.’ Drake is talking about me in the song. It was incredible. I think the album is going to be amazing, so I am looking forward to it. I haven’t heard it.”

In his diary entry, Green also talks about his reaction to Jason Terryguaranteeing a Rockets’ win last night and Steph Curry’s injury. Go here to check it out.
