Joe Freshgoods has been quietly hinting at the arrival of a New Balance 650 collab since he first teased the project in a lookbook last month. Now, we're learning more about the release.

Just moments ago, the Chicago-based designer confirmed that his "Stuntman" New Balance 650 will be released this Saturday. Joe Freshgoods also confirmed that the collab pays homage to Michael Jordan's photoshoot for Life Magazine in 1984, where he was captured wearing a low-top New Balance sneaker while doing his now-classic Jumpman pose.

The "Stuntman" Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650 features a premium white-based leather upper that's paired with nubuck and suede overlay panels on the sides. This pair also comes with a co-branded tongue tag and "JFG" branding at the forefoot of the lateral side. The designer also confirmed that there are only 500 pairs of the sneakers available, and each pair is individually numbered behind the tongue.

Readers will be able to cop this Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650 collab on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Joefreshgoods.com.
