More than two years have passed since Adidas announced it had signed Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo to a long-term partnership, and now we finally have a glimpse at what’s to come between the two entities.

During Fear of God’s first-ever runway fashion show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles yesterday, those in attendance were treated to previews of upcoming Fear of God x Adidas sneakers as well as ready-to-wear apparel pieces.

One of the Fear of God x Adidas sneakers in question is a performance-based model and features a mid-cut mesh upper with Three Stripes overlay panels on the sides and a mock neck collar. The sneaker also features a reinforced toe cap, and the cushioning setup in the midsole is tucked behind a translucent shell. Thus far, the shoe has been spotted in a white and grey makeup, and in a black and sail colorway. Lorenzo initially joined Adidas in 2020 to lead the creative and business strategy for the brand’s basketball category, but last year the designer confirmed that the partnership has been restructured to focus only on their Fear of God Athletics line. Since then, things have been fairly quiet on the product front, but chatter for the collaborative line began to ramp up last month when a sample version of an unreleased Fear of God x Adidas sneaker surfaced on social media. Lorenzo told Complex that the leaked silhouette was just a sample that isn’t being released.

Despite the preview at the Hollywood Bowl yesterday, release details for Lorenzo’s first Fear of God x Adidas collection have yet to be announced by any of the parties involved.
