Nike Trailers in Memphis Ransacked

The Memphis Police Department is in search of multiple suspects after close to $1 million worth of Nike products were stolen out of trailers earlier this week.

According to Fox 13 Memphis, the crimes took place a little after midnight on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at the company’s distribution center located on Shelby Drive and Lamar Avenue. According to a police report, multiple thieves stole $800,000 worth of Nike sneakers and apparel across a total of 20 different trailers.

The alleged crooks were able to gain access to the trailers after they broke through several of the fences containing the trailers. The Memphis Police Department told Fox 13 Memphis that the sportswear company did have video surveillance cameras, but only in the front of the facility, and they were not able to capture the scene of the crime. Shown in the series of videos and photos below are the aftermath of the looting.

The Memphis Police Department is still searching for the individuals responsible for the crimes.
