Tessa Thompson Seen Probably Heading to 'Avengers 4' Set

Tessa Thompson was seen hopping off a plane in Atlanta, where "Avengers" is filmed, with Chris Hemsworth and his stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton.

Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie was nowhere to be seen in Avengers: Infinity War after surviving Thor: Ragnarok. For a while, it was unclear if she survived Thanos' infamous Infinity Gauntlet snap, which killed half of the entire universe.

Thompson has since joked that she was the goat being held by Bucky at one point. Shortly after the film came out, the Russo brothers declared some side characters are safe while others perished, but the topic of Valkyrie's life or death status didn't come up. However, the Russo brothers and Infinity War screenwriters, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, later confirmed that she was indeed alive in the DVD's audio commentary.

And luckily for Valkyrie fans, it seems she'll be back in all her Asgardian glory in Avengers 4. Thompson posted a video of herselfThor's Chris Hemsworth, and Hemsworth's stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton leaving London, where they've shooting the Men in Black spinoff.

But that's not all. Hemsworth previously said he'd be heading from London to Atlanta to continue filming Avengers 4. So when, Hanton's IG story showed Thompson getting off the plane with them in Atlanta, fans are naturally thinking this means Valkyrie will shoot scenes for Avengers 4 as well. Although it's likely Thompson just wanted to travel with the crew and is catching a flight somewhere else, we remain hopeful. Avengers 4 is set for a May 3, 2019 release.
