Black Panther mania is happening overseas too.

Black Panther is predicted to have the most successful February opening ever with a projected $165 million in North America. But it won't only be making history there. The Guardian reports that Black Panther made £2.67 million (about $3.74 million) in the UK on its opening day on Feb 13, marking it as the highest-grossing single day film at the UK box office this year. (And that's without the President's Day boost that the United States' market is getting.) This knocks two of Marvel's films, Thor: Ragnarok and Doctor Strange, out of their spots. In addition to besting the UK box office, Marvel's latest also outsold all of their other films in advanced ticket sales within 24 hours on Fandango.

Even Black Panther: The Album, a soundtrack for the film curated by Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, is making major movements as it's slated to reach the No. 1 spot on Billboard's 200 list with over 100,000 units earned since its release on Feb. 9. The album's track "Pray For Me" with Lamar and The Weeknd also nabbed the No. 7 spot on Billboard's Hot 100.

And the film isn't even out worldwide yet. Black Panther is set to be released in theaters on Friday (Feb. 16). Afterwards, the film will open up in Russia (Feb. 22), Japan (March 1), and in China (March 9).
