After three highly regarded though generally underwatched seasons, NBC has canceled Hannibal. In a statement, series creator Bryan Fuller refrained from taking understandable jabs at NBC — even leaving open the possibility of the show finding a new home in the future.
The impending cancelation will reportedly not interfere with the currently-in-progress third season, which — as evidenced by Fuller's willingness to find a new home — may or may not be the final nail in the Hannibal coffin. In fact, the future is already looking a little brighter:
