Never pass a fugitive the aux cord.

While the rest of us debate the merits of newcomer Apple Music and its place among the pantheon of other streaming services, two fugitives were unknowingly using two titans of the medium to quicken their eventual arrest. Former Coloradans Brittany Nunn and Peter Barr were apprehended in Mexico after a search warrant provided investigators with search-absolving information from Nunn's Spotify and Netflix accounts.

After a court granted primary custody of Nunn's two children to their fathers, the couple swiftly abandoned their home in Wellington, Colorado in December 2014ultimately fleeing for Cabo San Lucas with the children in tow. After an IP address tracing revealed Nunn had been streaming music near Cabo, investigators were able to track a package being shipped to the couple. Following a laborious seven-month international search, the couple was deported and the children were reunited with their respective fathers.

So, to all fugitives (past, present, and future): no matter how strong the urge to unleash pure fire may be, never accept a passed aux cord whilst engaged in an international escape.
